For a child to receive a scholarship to OFA, they must be a participant in the programming of one of our partner organizations.
OFA partners with faith-based community organizations and programs that serve children and families from under-resourced communities year-round. We allocate scholarships to each of our partners who then award the scholarships to children involved in their programming. The goal is for OFA to work lockstep with our partners by allowing them to use the camp scholarship as an incentive for children to maintain positive engagement with their programs. The ultimate goal is for this engagement in uplifting programming to create brighter trajectories for kids.
The only cost for families to send a child to OFA is a $20 registration fee, which is credited to their store account for use during their week at camp.
We serve children from ages 7 to 17. New campers must be between the ages of 7 to 14. Returning campers are eligible to attend throughout high school. Rising juniors and seniors in high school can participate in our Camper Leadership Team.
The Camper Leadership Team is designed to provide rising juniors and seniors a unique opportunity to serve while gaining valuable leadership training and having an absolute blast! If members of the Camper Leadership Team demonstrate positive engagement during OFA, they receive eligibility to participate in an 8 month-long biblical leadership program through the Ozark Leadership Institute (OLI) on full scholarship. We identify partner organizations through a variety of methods, including referrals from our existing network of partners and churches. Since our founding in 2006, Ozark for All has partnered with over 30 organizations to give children from under-resourced communities access to a life-changing week of camp. We are always looking to grow our network to serve even more kids. We seek partners that provide consistent, year-round programming and are deeply committed to supporting children in under-resourced communities. Click here to view our current partner organizations.
Ozark for All began in 2006 at Camp Ozark in Mount Ida, Arkansas. Since 2021, the program shifted to Camp OTX in Bandera, Texas, following the opening of Camp Ozark’s sister camp. Recently, OFA has acquired land in East Texas to build a dedicated campsite that will serve children from under-resourced communities all summer long. We hope to break ground this fall and open the new camp within the next few years. Click here to learn more about the Campaign for All Kids.
For Summer 2025, OFA will take place from Sunday, August 3rd to Friday, August 8th at Camp OTX. We anticipate OFA to continue taking place following Camp OTX’s 5th session for the next couple of years until we are able to begin operations at our new campsite facility.
OFA is made possible by a generous subsidy from Camp OTX and donations from our generous partners! If you, your company, or your church are interested in partnering with us to change the lives of children from under-resourced communities, please contact us or visit our giving page. We look forward to connecting with you!
